My Wife and I purchased the building earlier this year with the idea of creating a model train museum and shop. The building was previously a single house type structure that had been added on to. We recently completed interior renovations to create a separate space to lease out in the back. The space is suitable for a moderate layout area and small retail.

There is a lot going on including replacement of the HVAC and hot water systems as well as removal of some door openings to create the shop space.

Hi Mike- Best of luck with your new shop! I'm a little ways away in Phoenix and like you I'm a retired civil engineer (VMI 1968) and worked in rail design and construction at PBQ&D and Sverdrup after the Army. I'm an old AF fan and now am into S and Sn3 scale. It's good to see another hobby shop getting going!
